Support from the Grassroots Sports Club directly enables Mirabel kids to enjoy playing community sport, a crucial part of any childhood. Research shows that only 3 out of 10 of Australia’s most disadvantaged kids get to participate in sport outside of school hours, compared to 8 out of 10 of their advantaged peers. Things like uniforms, membership fees and equipment can place sport out of the reach of many Mirabel family budgets. Which is where Grassroots S.C. steps in.

Putting in the miles for Mirabel

A popular way to raise money for Mirabel is by running some of Australia’s biggest fun run events, with Mirabel chosen as your selected charity.

 

As we move past the winter solstice, the iconic runs are looming so now is the time to hit the pavement and get ready to collect medals as well as donations for the foundation. You are our champions.
