The Event
The Financial Review Corporate Cycling Challenge is the first cycling event of its kind to be held in Australia, offering corporate teams the chance to compete with and against Australia's Tour de France stars and other elite sporting talent. Held at Eastern Park in Geelong on Sunday 4 December 2011, Mirabel would like to thank Corporate Cycling Challenge and all involved for supporting the work we do with disadvantaged children.

The Race
The Financial Review Corporate Cycling Challenge is a team time-trial event. Corporate teams of 8-12 will race together against the clock, set out at 90 second intervals, to compete for the Corporate Cycling Challenge. Based on stage 2 of le Tour de France, each teams result will be measured by their 5th fastest riders time to complete the 15km course. Cycling enthusiasts will recognise the course as part of the 2010 UCI World Championship Course.
The Entertainment
Part of the excitement about the Financial Review Corporate Cycling Challenge is the entertainment after the conclusion of the race. There will be a marquee village for company’s to entertain their valued staff and clients. A giant stage where interviews will be conducted, live music performed and winners / prizes announced. For the thirsty riders who have completed the challenge, there will be a Pure Blonde beer garden and close by we will have an area dedicated to the kids with jumping castles, face painters and other fun sporting activities. This truly is the most exciting, family friendly corporate sporting event in Australia.
The Elite Athletes
Another truly unique aspect of the Financial Review Corporate Cycling Challenge is the opportunity to compete with and against some of the Australia’s elite athletes. Very soon some of Australia’s Tour de France stars will be announced as competitors for the race. They will be joining Chris Judd, Shane Crawford and other local sporting stars. Watch this space!
