Mirabel’s Boys Group Program highlighted on Can We Help?

Mirabel featured on Can We Help? (ABC 1) on Friday 12th November 2010. The Can We Help team works to bring families and friends back together, investigate all sorts of things for the curious-minded and lay to rest long standing disputes about the origin of certain words and phrases. Mirabel’s Therapeutic Boys Group Program was featured in the show.

Mirabel featured in ANZ Trustees ‘Journey’ magazine

Mirabel’s founder and CEO, Jane Rowe, has been raising awareness of the effects of parental illicit drug use for over 12 years. Jane’s passion for change and the positive impact the foundation has on the Mirabel children was recently captured for ‘Journey’ magazine – a new publication by ANZ Trustees that aims to inspire participation in philanthropy. ANZ Trustees has been a long-time supporter of Mirabel's work.

Softies For Mirabel 2010

The Softies For Mirabel campaign is an annual handmade toy drive for the Mirabel children. Now in its 4th year, the campaign was run by Pip Lincolne, Melbourne craft enthusiast and owner of Meet Me At Mike’s store in Fitzroy, VIC. The 7PM Project - Mirabel

Jane Rowe (Mirabel’s CEO) appeared on The 7PM Project (Channel 10) on Friday 27th August 2010. Following on from the public discussion raised by the Ben Cousins' documentary ‘Such Is Life’, Jane was invited to answer the panel’s questions regarding the effects illicit drug use can have on family members.

Award winning writer and director, Ian Darling's latest short film 'Polly and Me' tells the story of one little girl who has fallen through the cracks. The film highlights the traumatic circumstances of many Mirabel children and covers some of the most crucial issues threatening those vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society.

Big Days Out

Our Big Days Out provide opportunities for hundreds of Mirabel children to establish friendships with others who share a similar past, take part in recreational activities that would not otherwise be possible due to difficult financial and social circumstances and, most importantly, experience some of the joys of childhood that they have missed out on.

'Support to love and live' Campaign

Yoga Sanctuary - a yoga centre located in Wolli Creek, NSW - is currently raising awareness and funds for Mirabel through their 'Support to love and live' campaign.

'St Kilda Living Legends' Photographic Exhibition

Serge Thomann's exhibition 'St Kilda Living Legends' is a photographic tribute to St Kilda's local identities. Serge has captured actor Rachel Griffiths, TV personality Molly Meldrum, artist Mirka Mora, fashion designer Jenny Bannister, QC Robert Richter, singer Paul Kelly and more personalities for his first exhibition. "This is a celebration of an amazing place, the amazing people who live here and a celebration of life" says Serge.
