Mirabel's Programs for Children & Carers
Mirabel provides advocacy, referral, research, practical and emotional assistance to the children and their kinship carers who are more often than not grandparents. It leads the way in providing a community response to these families and reducing the stigma and isolation they experience. Mirabel identified and filled a gap in the assistance available with the provision of innovative and individual services to a group of children and families that had been largely overlooked by both Government and the community.
